10 top open source security tools. While I can usually nitpick something in most lists from unknown sites, I was pleasantly surprised by the well-rounded list presented. Then again, some of these can be fairly easy when you have lists like
Insecure.org's top tools list.
I also am saddened but have to say (almost as a reminder to myself) that I need to someday actually read the
Open Source Security Tools: A Practical Guide to Security Applications. Books don't get younger on their own!
